Questions about an official Clark County docket or case record usually belong with the clerk or court that heard the matter. Clark County Court Docket is a private reference resource and does not hold court files. The routes below distinguish a docket lookup, hearing confirmation, certified copy, and full case-file request. Superior Court records go to the Clark County Clerk, while District Court and municipal records remain with their own court offices.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Clark County Court Docket cannot retrieve files, change hearing dates, alter or seal a case, issue certified copies, or provide legal advice. Contact the clerk or court with custody of the record.

Route a Clark County request by the record and court level:

  • A docket sheet: use the Washington index and docket search instructions to identify the case, then request the docket from its clerk
  • A hearing date: check the court schedule and confirm a current setting directly with the court
  • A certified copy: order from the clerk that maintains the original case file
  • A specific case: search by a complete case number when possible, with the correct court selected
  • Pleadings, orders, or a case file: follow the court case records route for Superior, District, or municipal custody

For Superior Court case files, contact the Clark County Clerk, 1200 Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA 98660, at 564-397-2292. The Clerk's public file-review hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Public terminals and file review are on the first floor. Confirm current hours before visiting.

The Clerk holds Superior felony, civil, domestic, probate, guardianship, adoption, mental-commitment, dependency, and juvenile-offender files, subject to access rules. Clerk access information covers public terminals, OnBase, file review, older records, and copies. Clark County District Court separately keeps limited-jurisdiction criminal, traffic, civil, and small-claims records; municipal clerks hold or route city matters.
